Green Giants quickly screen out neighbors and block out unwanted views, without taking up a lot of space like other privacy trees. Green Giants naturally grow in a uniform shape and height. Green Giants provide a perfect shape without having to shear or prune. They're also drought tolerant and have no significant insect or disease problems. These trees are not prone to deer or bagworm problems either, which means you'll never have to worry about mixing chemicals or spraying these trees. Green Giants are a very tough and durable tree that is resistant to ice and snow damage and grows in almost any soil, even sandy loam or heavy clay. Green Giants prefer direct sunlight, but also do well in partial shade. Green Giant Arborvitae is the perfect evergreen for a privacy hedge, wind screen, or natural sound barrier.
